I just pushed a jre branch for 9.1 to the git repository.
nvidia-openjdk-8-jre is a new package that ships the openjdk-8 jre
binaries bundled with the toolkit and uses that instead of the
to-be-removed openjdk-8. Please give it some testing :-)
