Yes, this applies to Stretch stable and it applies to the following packages:

  nvidia-driver 384.130-1 amd64
  nvidia-detect 384.130-1 amd64

Thanks. Currently the latest driver available for Stretch stable seems
to be 384.130. I notice that according to nvidia, the Quadro P600 is
supported by that driver (according to supported products listed here:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/132524/en-us)

My unfortunate assumption was that the device was officially supported
by the 384.130 release, however, now I noticed there are two device
IDs for the P600 (1CB2 and 1CBC). Probably one for the non-mobile and
one for mobileI guess? Unfortunately that difference doesn't show in
the list of supported chips list that comes with the nvidia driver
itself. I suppose I incorrectly assumed that the device was supported
by the 384.130 release which is part of stretch stable.

Is there any indication when that might happen? Relying on stretch
stable would be preferable instead of using stretch backports.
