I was able to get the experimental+bundled-openjdk-8 branch to build
on amd64 in Ubuntu with one minor change;
libjpeg-dev -> libjpeg62-dev in Build-Depends-Arch
It still failed on ppc64el due to missing libasound.so.2, but that's
probably easily fixed dropping [!ppc64el] where needed.
I upgraded to the built binaries and openjdk8-jre remained, nvvp and
nsight seemed to run fine.
I installed nvidia-openjdk-8-jre and openjdk8-jre was removed, nvvp
and nsight continued to run fine.

Graham
