There is now an untested branch in git with the dependency fix: 
470+xserver21

   450.172.01 (2022-01-31) probably supported
! 418.226.00 (2021-10-26) assume not supported
   390.147    (2021-12-16) supported according to ionen
! 340.108    (2019-12-23) EoL, not supportable
