I have pushed some more fixes; please now upload 1.0.1 so it can get 
into Ubuntu.

Also, can someone with AMD hardware test whether mesa-opencl-icd still 
works when beignet is installed (i.e. the reverse of #768185).

Some things I am considering for a future version (comments welcome):
-I've never liked that beignet 0.9+ defaults to fast-but-inaccurate 
mode, when the standard says any such mode should not be default.  It's 
technically trivial to change the default 
(backend/src/backend/program.cpp:116).
-Try to use dynamic rather than static linking to libllvm/libclang.
-Be less noisy when the hardware is not found: under "install all ICDs 
by default" this will be normal on non-Intel GPUs, so shouldn't scare 
the user with ~20 error-like messages.
