Can you try to rebuild intel-compute-runtime/sid against your locally 
updated igc?
a) does it build?
b) does it work?

I'd try to resolve the dependency problems first (and maybe go back to 
llvm-11 to remove the last remaining llvm-12 user from testing) before 
we look into getting newer versions in unstable.
