[Pkg-openldap-devel] Bug#462099: slapd: Fails to upgrade to 2.4.7, assertion failed in slapadd

Hi,
upgrading from 2.3.39-1 fails with error:

Loading from /var/backups/slapd-2.3.39-1: 
  - directory o=lugroma3.org... /var/lib/dpkg/info/slapd.postinst: line 1085: 25396 Abortito                "$@" 2>&7
failed.

Loading the database from the LDIF dump failed with the following
error while running slapadd:
    slapadd: /build/buildd/openldap2.3-2.4.7/servers/slapd/schema_init.c:3669: csnNormalize: Assertion `val->bv_len == (sizeof("YYYYmmddHHMMSS.uuuuuuZ#SSSSSS#SID#ssssss")-1)' failed.

it seems that wrongly formatted entryCSN entries (those with 0x in them) in backup cannot be imported in 2.4.7. This directory has been created with slapd 2.1.30, so I don't exactly know when those entire were generated.

Right now I'm trying to find a workaround that allows the directory to be imported.
