Just FYI, I'm currently prepping OL 2.4.12. There's a major change in
2.4.12 over the prior 2.4.11 (and earlier) releases, in that it uses BDB
transactions instead of locks for operations. This means that OpenLDAP
2.4.12 and later only support BDB 4.4 or later. I don't believe this is an
issue for Debian. There's also an additional matching rule added, which
means a database dump/reload when upgrading from any prior release of 2.4
(or from 2.3, but that's the case anyway).

If possible, rather than going to OpenLDAP 2.4.11 from OpenLDAP 2.4.10,
it'd be nice if debian was able to go to 2.4.12. But I understand that's
not entirely likely anyhow. ;)
