No, this is the patch that *prevents* openldap from throwing spurious errors
on library upgrades.
You wouldn't get this error message if we dropped this patch from
openldap... because you'd get a different error message instead. But we
shouldn't get either error message, the cyrus-sasl2 ABI should be stable and
not break existing binaries on upgrade. But we still need to work out why
it's broken.
