Hi.

  Sorry for the delay with this: it's been a busy couple of weeks here.

   I haven't had a chance to try the patch you suggested as yet. I will
try it in the next couple of days and let you know what happens.

   The box is an Enterprise 250, with 2 x 400 MHz Ultrasparc II
processors. I could probably try building a uniprocessor kernel if you
think it'd help, but, again, that will have to wait for a day or two.
