Hi, Carsten.

Thank you very much for your comments and I hope that we have a very good
cooperation.

(As an aside, I am particularly interested in Coding Theory, but still have
quite a lot to learn).

Thank you very much for your work.

I do want to get rid of most of the patches and have something as faithful to
your code as possible (I would love if other people acting as downstream treated
some of my projects this way).

Just for the record, Takaki has set up a repository (which seems to have been
initiated by Daniel) and we are using that for our code. You can browse it at
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-opt-media/dvdisaster.git if you wish.

I will investigate this.

No problems. I didn't know that the legality of them was under suspicion in
other countries. Do you recommend that we consult debian-legal to see if we can
continue to distribute the software?

(Gee, this is a quite unfortunate fact, as they are just some if's on the code
and nothing else...) :-(

OK, great. I will try to get some time to translate some of the messages into
Brazilian Portuguese (which should be close and understandable for Portuguese
users of the program).

Do you adopt any conventions of using even/odd middle versions as
stable/development versions?

Fair enough.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I will try to get in touch in a frequent
fashion.

Mit freundlich Grüße, :-)
