Hi Rogério and Takaki,

Cool :-) Since the next dvdisaster version will feature a new
Reed-Solomon codec,
you might have a look at its (early state) specification:
http://dvdisaster.net/en/download50.html
The plan is to release the codec early and with extensive documentation
so that we all can test and understand it thoroughly. Any input is welcome.

Yup; I already got the patches from there.

I understand from your other mails that this one will probably resolved.

Well, I'd rather not give any legal advice or interfere with the way
the Debian port is run.

Yes, and at least patch 03 is suspicious to me. It simply removes the
error message telling the user that CSS encoded media can not processed.
Since dvdisaster has no CSS decoding capabilities and the patch does not
add any, things will just break a bit later (and less gracefully) when
the CSS encoded region is encountered. But frankly I don't know what the
rationale for adding this patch was.

Indeed: Even middle versions (0.72.x) are stable versions;
odd versions (0.73.x) are experimental. Then soon to be opened
0.73 branch will definitely be a very experimental one as we are
venturing into heavy duty multicore usage and using Intel intrinsics
for encoding.
