I want to add an important information here: The first time it was a disaster
cause I tried to switch from 7.0.x Debian packaging to 8.0 upstream packaging,
as there has not been any 8.x Debian packaging I was aware of – maybe David
had already a package in his people.debian.org directory. I thought "how
different could they be?" and just tried it. Now I know better,
Only the second time I tried to work purely with Debian packaging, by using
David´s 8.0 interim package to migrate to 8.1 (I think) afterwards.
Thanks,
