Hey,

gave the nextcloud-client a try, which I built from source. But it had the 
same problem. I figured out, that it has to be built against libsecret to 
interact with the gnome-keyring. I think, this would also fix the issue with 
the oc client.
the oc client can't be compiled against libsecret, as it does not depend on 
libsecret. It only depends on qtkeychain, that does do the interaction with 
libsecret/other keyrings.
