I have upgraded my old 4.0.8-installation.  The upgrade itself went fine.
So Debian-wise that is great to hear.

Unfortunately, I found many, many small bugs in the web interface.
Actually so many I didn't bother to make a list (video player doesn't
start, music player still has issues, PDF viewer hung on a PDF, problems
with tasks and calendars, etc.).  The lack of polish was also a bit
disappointing.  The DAV-part however seemst to work great using
Evolution, nautilus, etc. (GNOME stuff) to connect.

The main gripe I have with files that were shared previously amongst
users in 4.0.8.  It is completely broken.  I see a Shared/ folder under
the root, I can access it and see folders share with me by others, but
when I enter it, everythin goes haywire.   Also using DAV access calls
seem to block.
I am not sure how to correct it? (Remove all Shared-folders and hope
they will be recreated?)

Regardless of all this, I think the packages are ready for experimental.
People can use it to deploy and test and report problems.
