mmh i use git-buildpackage with pbuilder and I see these issues also for my
build from master today:
git checkout master
ARCH=i386 git-buildpackage

The problem is not that pkgkde_symbolshelper is a really nice tool. The
quetions are somehow, if it is safe to delete the #MISSING lines. And how to
bump the SONAME.

The more I read about lib packaging I'm sure that upstream has to change the
SONAME, if they break the API. If they don't change the SONAME, we have to
create workarounds...
