Hi,

As a member of the Debian packaging team, I’d be interested in
information about the security support of the current ownCloud 6.
Since we aim at providing years of security support in our stable
release, the security team would like to know when the security
support is aimed to stop.

Furthermore, I wonder if ownCloud 7 would be ready by the time the
next stable release will be frozen (i.e. 5 November 2014, date after
which no new packages or versions will be accepted).

Given the usual Debian release cycle, the next stable release may be
expected around the end of 2015, and we’ll aim at supporting all
packages for three years after that.
