Sorry for sending via the wrong report system !

You're right, I activated some "external storage support" (local in fact).
And I agree with your analysis, only files_external uses php-irods-prods.

So I think, the bug reported can rejected.
I suppose that to note the dependencies of each provided application in the
README.Debian would take too much time...
