AFAICT, only the files_external app needs php-irods-prods, but it’s not
enabled by default, so no strict dependency is necessary here
(administrators who decide not to follow the maintainer’s
recommendations are exposed to fix their own installation).
Can you please confirm that you activated the files_external app?
