Hi!

Just for the records,
I've encountered a similar error with *no* xcache installed.

After upgrading from owncloud 6.0.3+dfsg-2 to 6.0.4+dfsg-1,
i encountered an error similar to the one mentioned in the original 
thread of 752576.


After reverting the .htaccess file to the one from 6.0.3+dfsg-2,
everything worked again.

I am running these packages on an Ubuntu 14.04 server,
with the required, arch-independent packages from Debian Jessie 
installed.

No xcache package installed though.
