As I tried to say, I used the git that created the .tar.gz and the
.debian.tar.gz, so it *should* be the same.

That is what I did. Our git tree already has 1.2, right?

Indeed. I thought you were looking into that issue (I did see your other
e-mail). We can not let it go unfixed, one way or another.
