Is there any reason why this isn't shown in the excuses on the
packages.qa page? Usually these kind of dependencies are shown, aren't they?

Anyways, I just filed a bug 749539 against optgeo because it now FTBFS.

No, I don't agree. In principle Lazarus can run on any platform (that
fpc can compile it on). So no need for explicit mentioning supported
platforms. Also fpc just won't get build as long as it is not
bootstrapped on a platform, but if it get bootstrapped, it is obviously
supported on that platform.
