Diving into this a little deeper. binutils-i586-linux-gnu is not
available in stretch, it seems most binutils-* packages are now build by
binutils, except the i586 and x86-64 variants, which are build by
cross-binutils. So before we go that route, we should probably first as
for builds of those packages. I was thinking of something like:
Depends: binutils | binutils-aarch64-linux-gnu [ppc64] |
binutils-i586-linux-gnu [i386] |
Would that work to fix this issue?
Paul
