[Pkg-pascal-devel] Lintian errors and warnings on FPC

Abou, there has been some discussion about these lintian warning on the
FPC forum.

Seems a lot harder than I first thought. The issue is that FPC supports
a far wider set of platforms than Debian, some do not themselves know
about UTF8 for example.

So there are quite a number of files in the FPC source that cannot be
converted to UTF8.

Obviously, there is also quite a lot of issues that can and will be
fixed there.  

So, when you called for help, just what were you asking for, fixes
upstream or lintian overrides ?

Looks like you will get a mixture of both.
