Lintian has the second maintainer since the maintainer that closed the 
bug. Before involving the TC you could (should in my opinion) discuss 
with the current maintainer, e.g. by reopening the bug and give your 
side of the story.

The TC is the last resort, I don't think we're there yet. (Not even close).
