Hi Abou,

I was getting a bit confused there between builds of fpc and debian builds using fpc.
For builds using fpc, /etc/fpc.cfg will of course already have been installed.

Yes, try to figure out why the post installation script does not go to the right line [1].

I have no idea how to do that without more diagnostics from the build m/c.

I'm minded to add a   'grep gcc /etc/fpc.cfg'
somewhere in my rules file to show where fpc is looking for the files.
The file list for libgcc-12-dev shows they are installed to
     /usr/lib/gcc/mipsel-linux-gnu/12/
