local autopkgtest?

All,
I've been working on finishing up the ITPs for a couple of Perl modules
libpgobject-type-datetime-perl & libpgobject-type-json-perl) and have added
the 'Testsuite: autopkgtest-pkg-perl' setting to debian/control as noted in
our autopkgtest page[1]. However, that page also notes that we should "adopt
a habit of verifying that the tests pass" and although I thought I had that
set up I've not been able to do so. This is the error I end up with now:
adt-run ERROR: unexpected error: test dependencies are unsatisfiable
Does anyone perhaps recognize what that might be coming from? This is
running on a jessie install, with a sid schroot set up as noted on our
autopkgtest page and with a command line like as follows:
adt-run libpgobject-type-datetime-perl_1.0.2-1_amd64.changes --- schroot sid
Also, does it matter where the 'Testsuite' entry goes in the source stanza
in debian/control? Browsing through codesearch shows it in different places..
Regards,
