Actually, I believe this would be as simple as updating libfcgi from
2.4.0 to 2.4.2; at least a quick look at the newer version and a diff
against the files included in libfcgi-perl show hardly any difference
(and the FCGX_Attach/Detach functions are included there).

Then libfcgi-perl only needs a repackage, a build dependency, and a
parameter to perl Makefile.PL - at least from a quick look.

Cloning a wishlist bug against libfcgi …
