Hello all,
You are receiving this email because you are listed as Debian package
maintainer/uploader for one of the packages that depends on tidy-html5, as
listed on https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-tidy-html5.html .
I intend to upload tidy-html5/5.8.0 (upstream stable release) onto Debian
unstable soon with a transition. The previous attempt in upgrading tidy-html5
triggered some chaos (for example, [1]) and resulted in adding an epoch to
src:tidy-html5[2], so I expect that this time all reverse-dependencies could
test out the new tidy-html5 first and make necessary compatibility changes,
especially for PHP and perl packages.
Please feel free to let know if any coordination is needed. I may open a
transition request 14 days later if no issue pops up.
Thanks,
Boyuan Yang
