No, this is not necessary. Simply send the updated version to the
previous bug report, stating that it replaces the earlier version.

As I do a few L10n NMUs currently (you might have noticed), this is
confusing from a packagers side. At least state in the later bug
report that it superseded the earlier one (and close the earlier one).

But best to simply post to a single bug report, when you notice errors
in your translation.
