breaking Darktable bug on Ubuntu 25.04

I don't know if this is the right forum for this but I've filed a bug
against darktable on ubuntu, release 25.04 and I wanted to bring it to
your attention

It has suddenly stopped working, hard crash right at launnch long
before the gui comes up.
