breaking Darktable bug on Ubuntu 25.04

Hi Colette;

I tried Darktable 5.0.1-2 on Debian stable and it seems to launch
fine. It seems to be either Ubuntu specific (the build environment tends
to be a bit different there) or less likely Wayland specific, since I only
tested on X11. Looking at your bug report, I'd guess (but don't know for
sure) that XFCE is using X11 as well. If you or someone you know is a
developer I'd suggest rebuilding darktable for Ubuntu 25.04. As a
workaround there are several options provided by upstream to install
darktable.

They don't mention Ubuntu 25.04 for the Debian packages, but I guess the
AppImage or flatpak should work.
