Hi,

Among the 49(+1) packages to handle [0], 24 have recently been
converted, 8 are work in progress, and 10 are stalled for four months
without maintainer reaction to the initial request and two following
reminders.

	0: https://wiki.debian.org/ReleaseGoals/pkg-php-tools/TODO

I intend to submit bug reports for the 10 stalled packages, in order to
publicly document the request and its status. The concern packages are:

[ maintained by Dario Minnucci <midget at debian.org> ]

and php-net-smartirc

[ maintained by Patrick Ringl <patrick_ at freenet.de> ]

I intend to follow up on the initial request (or one of its reminder)
and fill the bug with severity wishlist, and “Please, update packaging
with pkg-php-tools” as a title. Do you also wish to use a usertag to
follow them, do you have other advice or remark about that proposal?

A new package, php-http-request2, has recently been introduce, I’ll
follow up on it after this message.

If I’m not mistaken, the 7 remaining packages are PECL related, so I
don’t intend to act on them since there is another team in charge.

It would be nice to publish the scripts or methods that have been used
to generate that wiki page [0]: after double checking the disparities
with the pear-package-without-pkg-php-tools-builddep lintian tag [1], I
noticed that php-doc and xhprof are not among the second list.
