Remarks:
- can you relicense your packaging (PHP-3.01 is for php only, see
[REJECT-FAQ #3])
- Also, I doubt that it will be accepted with the PHP license itself.
Can you ask relicensing upstream? (usually with a Expat, BSD-2-clause
or BSD-3-clause license, I proposed Expat for php-lz4)
- Also, have you sent your patches upstream?
