I checked once more what could be done for twig-i18n-extension and for now Twig 4.x is required to get all of this right.

I made some work upstream to support PHPUnit 11 and Twig 4.x: https://github.com/phpmyadmin/twig-i18n-extension/pull/21
For now I did not find a way to get PHPUnit 11 working without the changes of Twig 4.x: because on Twig 3.x the test method is not static.

To fix this waiting game situation, I decided to push an update that will skip the DEP-8 test for PHPUnit 11: twig-i18n-extension=5.0.0-1
