Unfortunately, back then, I've overlooked that we need a newer version
of nautilus-python than what is currently available in stretch to make
this work.
Accordingly, I've asked the maintainers if they would be willing to
provide a backport of nautilus-python, see [1] for details.
Therefore, the update of the backported mat2 version will take some more
days, sorry for the delay.
