Package: snowflake-proxy
Version: 2.5.1-1+b3
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: lukas.fink1 at gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

snowflake-proxy 2.5.1 has a memory leak that results in it consuming
several gigabytes of RAM after simply letting it run for several days.
This might be too much for more resource constrained machines (e.g. a VPS
or a Raspberry Pi).

The bug has been noted and fixed by upstream in 2.6.0.

See the following upstream bug reports:
https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake/-/issues/40243
https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake/-/issues/40154

If I understand it correctly, the following merge request contains the
fix:
https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake/-/merge_requests/175

Sincerely,
Lukas Fink
