OK, good. Sounds like a good reason :)
The only problem I have historically had with using anything but
collab-maint is that it makes it harder to accept commits from all
DDs: in theory one can request ACLs to be set up to that aim, but for
pkg-otr the ACLs were asked >1 year ago, I've pinged a few times, but
it never happened. But it seems that Alioth's Git setup is being
reworked and this should become easier now (hopefully).
