You can now find my copy of mod_clamav, with my patches applied, in GitHub 
at:

  https://github.com/Castaglia/proftpd-mod_clamav

With this mod_clamav.c, you don't need to apply any patches to the proftpd 
core, AND it works properly with SFTP/SCP uploads.
