[Pkg-pulseaudio-devel] [Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#543448: lib32asound2-plugins: ia32libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so links to ia32 libwrap0, libgdmb3 not in archive

severity 543448 wishlist
reassign 543448 ia32-libs
retitle 543448 "Please add libgdbm3 and libwrap0"
thanks

libgdbm3 and libwrap0 have to be added to ia32-libs. When done we'll
do a rebuild with build depends on ia32-libs. I think this should be
the proper way to fix this bug. Otherwise we'll have a
lib32asound2-plugins without
/usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so. This is the case
if a rebuild is done in an actual chroot. BTW
/usr/lib32/libpulse.so.0 looks for the missing links as well....

According to [1] temporary one can download
libgdbm3_1.8.3-3_i386.deb and libwrap0_7.6.q-18_i386.deb, do an dpkg
-X .deb /emul/ia32-linux. A final ldconfig is necessary and we are
done ;-) For some reason "echo /emul/ia32-linux/lib >>
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/ia32.conf" is needed.

[1] /usr/share/doc/ia-32-libs/README.Debian
