[Pkg-pulseaudio-devel] Bug#545203: Acknowledgement (pulseaudio: no connection to server possible)

i deleted ~/.pulse* and /tmp/pulse* and started with

pulseaudio --use-pid-file=false

which produced some lengthy output (see below), but suddnely

pactl stat

could connect.
killing the server, removing  ~/.pulse* and /tmp/pulse* again and  
restarting with only

pulseaudio -D

left it in a usable state, ie pactl, padevchooser etc work.
not sure, though, what a) exactly happend and b) will happen the next time  
i reboot.

$ pulseaudio --use-pid-file=false
