Bug#773086: pulseaudio: Volume resets to mute everytime I login with Gnome (Gnome on Wayland) version 3.14.1 (gnome-shell) on Debian Sid

Sun Dec 14 05:50:35 UTC 2014
Package: pulseaudio
Version: 5.0-13
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
1.) edited /etc/apt/sources.list with 'nano /etc/apt/sources.list'
2.) I repaced the contents of that file from Jessie to this sources.list for Sid
Code:
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ Sid-updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ Sid-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ Sid/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ Sid/updates main contrib non-free
3.) After that I ran 'sudo apt-get dist-upgrade'
4.) Then I ran 'sudo apt-get -f dist-upgrade' just to make sure I upgraded to Sid
5.) Then I restarted my computer
6.) I logged in to debian like I usually do (through the default logon screen for gnome)
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
NOTE: Im using Gnome 3.14.1 (I think this is a pulseaudio bug not a gnome-shell bug!)
Ineffective:
1.)Going into Settings -> Sound
2.)Changing the volume with the slider
3.)Logging off than logging back in
* What was the outcome of this action?
Same issue as before, nothing seems to keep the volume from muting at login!
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The volume to remember what I set it to in the last session!
