Looking up the po files in reverse, it is:

Failed to initialize daemon.
Daemon startup failed.

Most software can handle a fallback to alsa. But the attached pactl
information shows that the daemon is in fact not running. Could you
please attach a verbose log? It is likely that some module is failing to load.
