Bug#935047: pulseaudio: regularly stops producing sound over USB interface

Adrian Heine debian at adrianheine.de
Sun Aug 18 16:51:56 BST 2019

Package: pulseaudio
Version: 12.2-5
Severity: important

I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo attached over USB. Every few minutes,
the setup goes quiet until I disconnect and reconnect the USB interface.
The pulseaudio log doesn't show anything when the sound stops working.

This bug is reproducible on two different computers when they run pulseaudio
from stable (I think it started with 12.0-1), but stopped appearing once I
downgraded to 10.0-1+deb9u1 from oldstable.
