Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation? May be an uppgrade, as I am not aware that I was installing, configurig anything related to pulse or alsa
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)? Ineffective: installed alsa-tools, alsa-firmware-loader, removed config file of pulse under ~/.config, created /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and added this line: options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0
   * What was the outcome of this action? Still no sound
   * What outcome did you expect instead? I expected that there is sound, and Volume Control gives me Configuration options
