[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] What happened to daily builds of Raspberry Pi Debian images?

Hi,

https://raspi.debian.net/daily-images/ seems to be stuck a very long
while ago… And I'm not talking about the intro about Debian 10 and 11
(which should be Debian 11 and 12 now).

Both sets of bullseye and bookworm images date back to end of March, and
it doesn't seem to be an issue regarding the timestamps indicated on the
website, as a look into a random image's /etc/ confirms those timestamps.

trixie is even worse, dating back to November last year. While that one
might have troubles to build given the various transitions, I'd find it
weird it never built again since then (and even if that was the case I'd
hope that to be turned into some bug report and fixed at some point).

Having outdated images is quite damaging to endusers, as they don't get
all the security bugfixes that have been published these past few
months, including the nasty SSH one lately.

While I *really* don't have too much free time (quite the contrary), I
believe I already volunteered to help in that area in the past…

I would find it slightly annoying to have to build images on our end
instead of just repack(er)ing them (I'm helping with the PiRogue Tool
Suite project – https://pts-project.org/) even if I would know how to
do that obviously. But I would definitely hate it if I had to start
recommending against Debian-provided Pi images, given all the efforts
we've collectively put into it over the years.

Cheers,
