Yes, I fiddled with a few of them too. Hope there's not too much
duplicate work.  The 3.6.1 packaging currently in SVN builds, but I
haven't tested it yet either.

I suppose uploading to experimental first would be a good starting point,
once the package seems to be working. I expect there's quite some work
to do with upgrades from 3.4 and updating the installation documentation.
