Hi Dominic,

Purely with my work hat on, it would be great to see this problem fixed
in Jessie.

It doesn't look like our client minds either keeping with the Jessie
version or switching to a backport, though the backport will clearly be
more work for us assuming you track upstream more closely. This is the
only thing they have been asking about, though.

Either way, it seems like the two Perl dependencies required for the
backport have been backported by pkg-perl-maint so I don't believe there
are any barriers.

With my DD hat on, is there anything much I can do to help either route
along?
