Dear Dominic

Thank you for your email regarding "Missing dependency for 
"rt4-db-mysql" in Debian jessie?" -> mariadb.

We are sorry to hear that there seems to be no solution for this 
issue/feature request.

Thanks a lot for the bugreport-info and the tipps how we could apply a 
work around. To be honest equivs is IMHO a crude hack and could break 
near future (os-)upgrades. Unfortunatelly jessie-backports isn't a 
solution either - there is no "virtual-mysql-client"-packet. :(

Seems like we need to force the PHP7-upgrades for our internal 
php-projects to be able to upgrade to stretch.
