It's irrelevant for this issue, but note that Roundcube is absent from
Debian Jessie.

I don't see that lib-net-ldap3 in roundcube-core's dependency list, only
php-net-ldap3 which *is* in Debian 10.  Note that it was removed from
testing, though: unless https://bugs.debian.org/882938 is fixed it wont
be included in Bullseye.  You may want to use ‘ldap_simple’ instead, see
/usr/share/doc/roundcube-plugins/plugins/password/README.gz sec 2.1.12.
